Wild-caught in Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico.

Cobia’s flesh is very firm and flaky, and tastes similar to tuna or mahi-mahi. This white meat fish is often described as having a fresh, clean and buttery flavor, often with a faint hint of lemon. It’s never oily. Cobia is a white fish with large flakes. 

How to prepare:  grill, blacken, stovetop, bake, saute, fry, broil, marinate, boil, poach, smoke, steam

    Its a good tasting fish but I had higher expectations So far sea bass is my favorite

    I miss going blue water fishing in Louisiana so much. We used to catch the fresh Cobia and this taste just like it. Highly recc
