Seared Tuna Po-Boy with Lemon Basil Mayo

Po-Boy
1 or 2 Tuna steaks, ½-inch thick
1 oz. Lemon basil mayonnaise
1 French loaf cut into (8 inch) sections
1/2 oz. Lettuce (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon Basil Mayo
2 c. Mayonnaise
1 Lemon, juiced and zested
1 c. Fresh basil, chopped
1 Tsp. Salt
Season tuna with salt and pepper to taste. In a very hot skillet, sear tuna on both sides, about 30 seconds per side. Slice into thin slices and arrange on French bread with lemon-basil mayonnaise and lettuce. Now dive in!
